Description
This wonderful family holiday home, has recently been renovated, and will certainly be a popular choice. It is a great place for families and groups of up to 6 people, it has a lovely garden for children to play in, and is set aongst undulating planted with vines. There is a cosy sitting room with a TV and open fire-place. The new kitchen is equipped with everything you could want including a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and juicer. On the first floor you find the 3 bedrooms. The double bedroom has a bathroom with bath en suite. The twin bedroom and bedroom with bunkbeds share the second bathroom which has a shower. The whole of the house has been tastefully decorated, using quality furniture and materials. The mature garden has lots of flowers, a barbeque and lots of furniture for guests to enjoy. There is also a good sized, newly constructed swimming pool (8 x 4m), and even a playground with a swing and a slide for the little ones. I am sure wine lovers will also be interested to know that the owners of the property, who live next door, are producing their own wine and will be happy to show you around and no doubt sample some of their wares. Cette maison familiale de vacances a été rénovée récemment et est certainement un choix populaire. C’est un endroit excellent pour les familles et groupes de jusqu’à 6 personnes, avec son jardin pour que les enfants jouent et entourée de plantes et de vignes. Il y a un salon confortable avec une télévision et une cheminée. La nouvelle cuisine est équipée avec tout le nécessaire y compris un lave vaisselle, une machine à laver, un grille pain et un mixer à jus. Les trois chambres se trouvent au premier étage. La chambre double a sa propre salle de bain en-suite avec baignoire. La chambre avec deux lits simples et celle avec les lits jumeaux se partagent la seconde salle de bain avec douche. La maison entière a été décorée avec goût, avec des meubles et des matériaux de qualité.

The country house is located amongst lovely vinyards and there are beautifuls views over the surrounding hills. The nearest village is Sant Pere de Riudebitlles (1km) which has a restaurant and a small shop. Vilafranca del Penedès which is a good sized town is 15 km away. You can visit many wine cellars and museums and at the same time try some of the best wines in this area. The famous cellars of Codorniu and Freixenet are in the towns of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Vilafranca del Penedés, very close by. The impressive mountain of Montserrat with it´s monastery at the top is just 35 km from here and the beaches of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú just 30 km away.

The villa was lovely, very remote but clean, well equipped and quiet. It might be an idea to mention that there is a DVD player as a few childrens films would have been perfect to take with us for the evenings but we played games so it did not matter. The owners were very friendly and just left us to our own devices, it was a very busy time for them as grape harvesting had just begun. They have 2 loud dogs, who are so soft and friendly, it may be worth mentioning it as some people maybe frightened - the dogs were our childrens best thing about the holiday!! J.C. 10.09.2005
We had wonderful time there, everything in villa and it's peaceful atmosphere was perfect. Ramon and Monti were very helpful and kind people, could not be better. Kids liked their dogs a lot and the swimming pool was excellent for our group (7 people). Distance from Barcelona and sea is so little that trips are not a big deal, and only one hour driving from Montserrat which was awesome. Successful future for Ramon and Monti with their wines! Thank you to North Spain Villas and especially to Ramon and Monty for our wonderful stay at Can Comas. Ramon and Monty share their spectacular house and wonderful vineyard, well off the beaten track. We were able to spend a very peaceful 8 days and nights, exploring the local landscape including hidden gorges and the wonderful heights of Montserrat and also found it easy to access the beaches along the costa Daurada for the children. Ramon and Monty are establishing their vineyard being commited to producing high quality wines. We had a fantastic holiday, made to feel very welcome on a working vineyard. I would recommend this accomodation to anybody, with or without children, who enjoy something a little bit special, that is peaceful and rural. We found all the amenities that we needed nearby with a very friendly welcome in the locall supermarkets, despite limited language. We have scarcely any spanish and found it very easy to communicate with Ramon and Monty who both speak excellent english, despite Ramon protesting that his english was awful. It was miles ahead of my spanish. I would throughly recommend Can Comas. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. R.H. 01.07.2005
We had a great holiday thank you, the villa was excellent, clean and well equipped. Marti & Ramon were very good hosts as were their 3 dogs who joined us for breakfast each morning. Fortunately we are dog lovers and never minded their occasional barking.The villa is very remote and it might be worth adding to your description that a car is an essential to get anywhere.It might also be helpful if you could enter a town on the web-site and it then listed the nearest properties registered in that area?We found your web-site by using various search engines.We left my daughter out there as she is working for a year at a company just outside Barcelona. We plan to visit her during the next year and will certainly use you web-site again to find accommodation. Thanks again.Regards DS (21.09.04)
