¿Alguna vez han soñado con quedarse en un verdadero castillo del siglo XII? Pues aquí su sueño se hace realidad: le ofrecemos un apartamento completamente renovado para 6 personas en la tercera planta de un auténtico castillo. Hay 3 habitaciones (1 con cama doble y 2 con 2 camas individuales), un baño y un cómodo salón-comedor con una cocina americana. Antiguamente la piscina era un depósito de agua para la irrigación agrícola, por lo tanto es muy grande (25 x 15m), muy profundo y rodeado por antiguas columnas romanas. En los jardines lozanos alrededor de la piscina hay muchas tumbonas para disfrutar del sol y la tranquilidad. También hay una cocina exterior, amueblada con una larga mesa de madera, una barbacoa y un frigorífico, donde se puede preparar y disfrutar de cenas tranquilas durante el verano. La piscina y el jardín están a unos 50m de la casa y son para el uso exclusivo de los huéspedes, los propietarios y sus hijos. El castillo y la zona a su alrededor tienen una historia fascinante que los dueños relatan con mucho entusiasmo.

Ubicación: Vimbodí
El castillo se encuentra a unos 3km del monasterio de Poblet y a 7km de Espluges de Francolí, donde se puede encontrar muchas tiendas y restaurantes. Es casi imposible aburrirse aquí, ya que existe una gran variedad de actividades al aire libre, como el senderismo, el ciclismo de montaña e la hípica. El castillo se encuentra en la ruta de los monasterios cistercienses y cerca del pueblo medieval de Montblanc, que se merece una visita por su arquitectura excepcional. Los entendidos en vinos disfrutarán de las bodegas locales y en aproximadamente una hora en coche (50km) se llega a las playas de arena blanca a lo largo de la Costa Dorada.

We had a wonderful trip to the Castell de Riudabella (your property #55). The property was more beautiful than expected and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We have recommended the property to several friends already (my wife works for Delta Airlines and knows many airline employees who would love to visit the property). We found that a huge bonus to the trip was that the host spoke English. You may want to include this information on your website as it my help American visitors who are nervous about the communication aspect. Thank you for your help in arranging our visit. 02.06.04
Your reservation team Simona was excellent and she was most willing to help where she could. The owners again were wonderful and went out of their way to meet our every need. The accommodation although by its very nature it was old, it was generally in good condition and certainly met all our needs. The views from the windows of the surrounding countryside were stunning. The customer service provided by our reservation team & accommodation owner. Both very helpful. Martina was very kind to show us around the castle and tell us the history. Best wishes to Martina, Pedro for the new baby.The appartment was very clean and attractively furnished, although there is no oven which made pizza making interesting! It was fortunate that there were insect screens on most windows as the weather was extremely hot and it was difficult to get a through draught. The website should say that there are lots of stairs to the appartment and low ceilings, as one of our party is 6ft 4in and kept bumping his head on the stairs and in the bathroom. It should also make clear that the pool is a long way from the castle and is spring fed (balsa) ie: you can't see the bottom. The pool area is lovely with the barbeque, table and fridge. We went on excursions to Reus, Tarragona, Prades and Siurana. There are certainly some interesting things to see in the area. Finally, we can thoroughly recommend Riudabella's wine and only wish that we could have carried more home! Hope this is helpful.Regards, N 19.09.03
We were very pleased with the apartment in the castle that we booked through North Spain Villas. It was a magical spot and Martina (the owner) was wonderful and very accomodating.
