Casa Ref. 10 a Arbucies

We had a very relaxing holiday in the cottage and found it to be everything we hoped for.  We arrived much later than we hoped due to a two hour wait at the car rental desk and the owners were very kind and provided us with a basket of food and wine for our supper. J. M. 04.06.2006 

We found the web site very useful, especially being able to browse and select a villa from the map. The villa itself was excellent - it's position and facilities - and the owners were equally excellent. We really couldn't speak too highly about everything from the finding, the booking, the paying and through to the holiday itself. The only problem was having to come back. This chalet near Arbucies was lovely. The setting was beautiful and the owners very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our two young children - a stream, sheep, horses, dogs and cats wandering through the woods. Fairly rough terrain down to the chalet and off the main roads surrounding, so sightseeing usually meant off-roading but it added to the adventure. The website was easy to use and to arrange payment of deposits etc I contacted the service team a number of times and received excellent service. We have just returned from an excellent holiday where we stayed in two locations. First accommodation Moli de CanAulet was beautiful and accommodation was of very high standard, the owner who lived nearby could not have been more helpful. Our second house was in Farena, again accommodation was of good standard and Francesca the owner was very helpful. We would use North Spain Villas again. We found the website by searching the web. I would also like to commend you on your website - it's the only true "on-line" site I've come across for boooking accomodation, and the method by searching available properties using the map is really useful. Hi Scott, Luis, Simona, Brian and everyone who helped make our stay so great! We had a wonderful time; thank you all for your help. We would certainly recommend you to our friends. The mixture of three days in the heart of Barcelona (in Santa Anna- apartment 159 www.bcninternet.com) followed by four days in the hills with the lovely Ernest Lucas and his family was perfect for the two of us and our two girls. The Montseny region is really beautiful and it was good to be away from the hoards of tourists and in such a peaceful spot. We thought Arbucies was charming - and it has a really good, busy restaurant where we were made to feel really welcome. The girls had a lovely time on the farm, playing for hours in a stream and in a treehouse. We had a day at Blanes, so that we could tell our friends back home that we'd all swum in the Mediterranean in October (which we did - briefly!) and a day exploring up to Olot and finding some incredibly beautiful roads, valleys, rivers and mountains. It's horrid being back, the weather is ghastly and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Many thanks, Penny. (29.10.04)

The accommodation was excellent and the landlord extremely friendly and welcoming, he gave us plenty of ideas for what to do in the local area. The location was convenient from Barcelona and the there was plenty of countryside to escape to for walking in the local area. All in all a great place to relax and get away from it all.
