t the risk of being unhelpful, I can truly say that there is nothing I can think of to improve the service we received from your company. We found you (and the villa) while generally browsing the internet for somewhere to stay. The site was very professional and compared well against others offering similar products. I had a number of queries after booking, and each of them was dealt with quickly and efficiently, including getting in touch with the property's owners on our behalf when I was unable to do so. The villa was lovely and the owners incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would be happy to recommend your company, and the couple in whose villa we stayed, to friends and family. C.W. 05.06.2006

I am pleased to say that we were all very happy to have stayed in that particular villa... the fact that we met and got to know the owners very well, made a world of difference. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and with loads of beautiful places to visit nearby. The only slight drawback was the size of the kitchen, but we had great meals outside, on the patio. The barbie area was also very spacious and well maintained. All in all a great value for money and will look forward to going back there again. G.M. 06.08.2005
br> We had a wonderful time. It was just what we wanted - quiet and relaxing. We had the entire place to ourselves for most of the time. Ramon and Carmen were excellent hosts although we had some difficulty contacting them on our arrival - thanks to your staff for helping us (Simona was great). Once we sussed out where the restaurants were in Montblanc and adjusted to late dinner times we were fine. Given that Prenefeta has absolutely no facilities for shopping or eating apart from Cal Gaya at the weekends some better guidance to facilities in Montblanc would be useful. Cal Gaya is an excellent restaurant and we had our nicest and best value meal of the holiday there. S.B. 29.07.2005

We had a fantastic holliday and the accommodation is perfect, nice and clean. The host is one of a kind very friendly and nice. Thats a accommadation we surrely return to. North Spain Villas i found on the internet, and that is a great site. M.P. 05.07.2005

Thought the place was fantastic. Found it by pure chance on the internet having punched something into google. It looked good in the photograph and by the description and was even better than we expected. The owners were very friendly and run an excellent restaurant with an interesting museum. The only complaint is that the apartments are a bit on the small side but we can live with that/ It may be worth mentioning on the website that there is great walking close by as the farmhouse sits at the foot of a mountain which is on the cistercian monastery route between Poblet and Santa Creuse. Would, certainly recommend it and consider a revisit Regards, JM 16.09.04

Had a wonderful time. The Spanish people were all very warm and friendly,as we know them to be. Barcelona was overall I think the best city we have visited. The accommodation at Prenafeta we found a little tight and at first disappointing, the kitchen side of it barely adequate for self catering. Carmen was very friendly dispite the language barrier and once we unpacked we soon settled in to very relaxing stay. The room was always cool due to the thick stone walls and the location and views were absolutely perfect, infact one day we were deciding where to go but were so taken with the surroundings that we went nowhere. Although Montblanc and the supermarket were a 10 minute drive away we never found it a trouble as it was a pleasant drive with no traffic at all. The Montblanc campsite between us and the town has a very good restaurant which we used regularly and do recommend. To conclude as a base to visit beaches, monestaries, mountain walks and scenic drives this is the perfect spot. As to where we found you. On the internet via Google. Yours faithfully. RB 25/8/04

I was very pleased with the standard of the accommodation - clean, warm and quiet (as the weather was a little colder than might have been expected!). The old building had a great deal of character and made for very pleasant surroundings. The proprietor was very helpful and welcoming with the communication gap bridged by the excellent "translation services" offered by Simona. I would very happy to use this accommodation and the services of North Spain Villas in the future. Thank you for your assistance. Regards R S. 8.04.04 Your web site I found very easy to use (I must say I am far from a web wizard so not very hard to impress). Most importantly the accommodation. We were delighted with every aspect of Prenafeta, the farmhouse was everything we expected and more. Carmen and Ramon spoke very little English and even though our Spanish was non existent we were able to communicate. We did leave a short note saying what a wonderful holiday we had and hoped they could read it or maybe the member of staff at the restaurant who could speak English could.Your help contacting the owners was also very helpful and we both have every intention of visiting Prenafeta again in the future and I would have no reservations in recommending your site or using it again myself. Thanks again for all your help. Regards, J M 3/9/04

We were very happy with the standard of accommodation and the service provided by the owners Senor and Senora Valles, in particular with their flexibility when we arrived with them on Sunday evening rather than the arranged Monday lunchtime of our booked fortnight. Within an hour of our phone call to ask if we could move in early (at 10.30pm on the Sunday evening), they called back and told us there was no problem and they were ready for us, saving us a night in a hotel. The accommodation, if a little small, was comfortable, it had tons of character, it was in a quiet, secluded location and was well-equipped as a touring base, which was what we wanted. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend your service to friends and family and, indeed, already have. We happened on the North Spain Villas site while trawling the internet looking for something a little different - we found it and the whole experience from booking and sending payment to the stay and our departure was a thoroughly pleasant experience.Regards, M T 30.07.04

We chose villa 54 because of the solitude it seemed to promise. It sure lived up to its promise! We arrived very late (or so we thought!) around 21:30; much later than we had anticipated. We found Carmen and Ramon in their restaurant Cal Gaya, we thought they were cleaning up! They welcomed us with a bottle of wine from the local winery and Ramon not only took us up to the farmhouse, but after showing us to our apartment, proceeded to take us through a spoken catalan, french and broken english tour of an area guide book. It is very obvious how proud Ramon is of Catalunya & the area directly surrounding their place. And one has to applaud his determination to not let language get in the way! Carmen and Ramon were also somewhat directly responsible for teaching us how Spanairds dine. We were a little unsure of where to eat; we figured their restaurant had closed. In Montblanc, being under the impression that restaurants were closed for the night, we didn't see anything that looked open. Returning to Prenafeta, as we drove past Cal Gaya and saw it bustling with life, we were confused, but being warmly welcomed for the second time that evening by Carmen and Ramon, they made room for us in their very popular and crowded place. Presented with another bottle of wine, we ate and drank well into the morning. We now understood how the Spanish supped. Word to the wise for vegetarians, expect meat to show up on your plate almost anywhere you eat in Catalunya; just move it to the side and enjoy the rest! Upon waking the next day, we discovered we had the place entirely to ourselves and we laid out by the pool happy to no longer be in the rain-soaked Cote d'Azur. The farmhouse itself is very beautiful and full of character. A note of interest, Ramon is currently installing a wine cellar in the cellar. Our apartment, although "mini," was charming and lovely and had what we needed for a self-catered vacation. The bbq was a definite plus. And although Prenafeta was secluded, it's only a 30 minute drive to Tarragona. I highly recommend this villa for its features but primarily because Carmen and Ramon are so wonderful and gracious, it was like coming home to family. Thank you! C.K. 17.09.2005
