I initially found information on North Spain Villas by searching the web. booking was easy (sorry I have forgotten the name of the woman who helped us but she was very friendly and helpful). we had an amazing time - the villa and village were absolutely stunning. myself and 2 friends had gone to Farina to do some rock climbing and walking and we couldn't have hoped to have found a more perfect spot. we arrived late a night and the drive to Farina from Reus airport is quite something to 3 guys used to driving in central London. the tavern owner Xavier had stayed open to feed us and to give us the keys for the apartment. great food and great apartment. basic, but beautifully clean and comfortable, it wasn't until the next morning in daylight that we realised how beautiful Farina and the surrounding area is. it is very remote however and you have to have a car to get around - but the remoteness suited us perfectly. for those looking to get away from the city, this couldn't have been better. please pass on our regards to Francesca the owner of the villa - we hope to see her again soon! The website/booking procedure was easy and straightforward. The customer service provided was very good and the owner/representative was extremely courteous and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the appartment. It was immaculate and comfortable. The location is fantastic for scenery, with beautiful views. Just to let you know that we had a very pleasant stay in Farena at Mas d'en Toni .The accommodation was of a high standard and the owners were very pleasant and helpful. Although, sadly, we could not communicate as effectively as we would have liked, due to our shameful lack of Spanish, we still managed to understand the important things they were telling us . We had a wonderful time in Farena. It was so beautiful and the house was gorgeous. it was just the most lovely village in the most picturesque setting and people were very friendly and helpful across the language barriers. Francesca was very kind to us and we really loved dining at the restaurant in the village too. Frederick is a fantastic chef and the food was simply stunning.The villa was described well on the website but only point is I didn't pick up how remote it was. We had a lovely time with nice weather and the villa was a charming refuge.J S. 7/6/04.
